ON Networks Adds Advertising Veterans To Management Team

AUSTIN, Texas – August 7, 2008 – ON Networks®, Inc. (ON) a new media company delivering original digital TV series for all screens, today announced that it has added two advertising industry veterans to its management team. They include Mark Ray, a former GSD&M Idea City executive, who was named to the position of Creative Director; and Hugh Jamieson, former advertising sales director for Blender Magazine, who will serve as the company’s Vice President of Advertising Sales. The two executives will be responsible for leading creative and sponsorship initiatives for shows delivered over the ON Networks AllScreen™ network.

Mark Ray most recently served as group creative director at Omnicom’s GSD&M Idea City, where he led campaign and creative development for several major brands, including mixed media campaigns for BMW, Southwest Airlines, 7-Eleven and SBC. With nearly 20 years of innovative work in broadcast, print and digital media, Mark Ray’s body of work was recognized by One Show, Communication Arts, Cannes and the Webby Awards. In his new role, Mr. Ray will oversee brand initiatives and develop new content and related forms of targeted video advertising, which ON Networks offers for a variety of platforms and screens.

Originally from South Africa, Hugh Jamieson has been based in New York City for the past six years where he’s worked in advertising sales for many high profile consumer magazines, including GQ, Rolling Stone and Maxim. He was until recently the advertising director for Blender Magazine. Mr. Jamieson’s media career began in South Africa where he worked with top media trade magazine AdVantage. He then went on to help Condé Nast launch key titles in South Africa, including House & Garden and GQ , which experienced unprecedented sales growth during his tenure. In his new role, Mr. Jamieson will lead video advertising sales initiatives for ON Networks as the company expands its unique video entertainment offerings worldwide.
