Thanks for the great comments Betsy, Abbie, Clyde, Michael, flossy, feeskate, and Mishka! I appreciate you all taking the time to sign in and comment on this show. What you don't see in the show is me freezing my tail off for these shots. :) Someday we are going to release an episode of bloopers and footage of me shooting and then you will see the pain I sometimes go through to get the shots. Just imagine sitting in the snow covered meadow as the sun goes down and the fog rolls in. Ice formed on my jacket, hat, and glasses as I sat and captured the sunset. All the people left and I was the only one out there crazy enough to be there. I see so much that others do not because I am there freezing at sunset or getting up before the sun rises to catch the sunrise. The Coyote walking across the shot was early morning, and he was as surprised to see me as I was to see him. Those are times that are special.

Also, I had a great conversation with the man whose wife is seen skiing in the background of one of the shots.

thenk you

What an anxiety reliese activity. Should be required viewing daily, in all schools and office buildings.

I've been to Yosemite and though it wasn't in the winter, the descriptions by Tony Farley brought me back. Just lovely. I especially liked the wolf walking by during the taping.

That was fabulous Tony! Breathtaking scenery...the wolf walking across the snow was truly exciting to see.

Very glad to have found your site. Great work, thanks
There is nothing like the freedom of the wilderness.
Although harsh, it is liberating.

nicely taken video.

Wow Tony!!! Now I think I would like to handle that cold. Beautiful stuff. Thanks again!

great show!! we try to go to Yosemite each year in January for just the reasons shown here in this video - extraordinary quiet, mystery, being alone with one of the wonders of the world. thanks for this refresher!!!
