I live in Barcelona and this is the biggest detraction from staying - I wish the Catalonian people would stop forcing their culture down people's throats and realise that they ARE INDEED part of Spain (check the map, the rest of the world views you as Spanish, you are governed in part by Madrid). I embrace your culture and language but please, the way you advertise it is turning people away from it. There are countless old cultures within modern countries around the world that co-exist without this fascist way of thinking - you're free from Franco, start being a bit more liberal!
