All the episodes reek of label-dropping (without showing prices), and would be more informative if talking about pieces singularly. First off, the Adidas shoe could've been done next to a less pricey Converse or Jack Purcell type shoe to show different price levels to achieve the look. Secondly, why put down people who wear performance athletic shoes, when you show off your meant-to-be-dirty designer kicks that require a very specific fashion forwardness and confidence to pull off. You really need a model to show how these shoes look with evening clothing.
Seriously, you never stay on the shoes long enough for me to see what's wrong w them. What's the hurry? I love shopping and fashion shows but this show stresses me out.
Other than good eyebrows, what exactly is this guy’s subject matter area of expertise? I’m just not getting it.
“I better not see you in your Nike’s, off the treadmill." Or what? He’s going to leer at us with condescending distain, or worse, hurl a cocktail napkin in our general direction? And on the Jeans clip, did the editor graduate from the ADD school of film making? Was the editing intended to be that abrupt? My opinion is that these clips tried to be informational, but double parked themselves in the space next to fashionista arrogance.
