hi there
no thanks
you think too highly of youself
Hi,I am a Gulf War Veteran And I was wounded in the war.
Because of this Im in a wheelchair,In my online datting profile Im clear on this fact. I say other Nice things about myself but I think this drives them off. Any suggestions on how to word it without doing That?
just saying what happen to you tells me that you are a honest and real. dont lose that because in the you are still who you are and the girl who gets it will be worth it
Well done!
Hi - I totally understand this feeling (& it is a little strange when people recognize you from your dating profile!) The best 'about me' is funny and concise with just a few specifics about what you like to do/who you are. Profiles like this tend to get read more and intrigue people to learn more. It's better not to reveal too much and leave these details for the date. This way, you also won't feel too exposed in public (which is a common concern).
I feel somewhat uncomfortable with the fact that all who want to can see what I am looking for and who I am (was recognized once at the supermarket by someone I never met but who had seen my profile - not the best meeting I can tell you). Is that normal? Is there a way to write a good "about me" without giving away too much (maybe using humor?). Thanks!
Thanks for the question, Luke.
You can end a date by simply saying, "nice to meet you" or "have a good night" (in other words - don't pretend you're going to follow up if you're not). I actually address this question on an upcoming episode. Look out for episode 9, "Who Pays and Other Uncomfortable Topics"!
How do I end a date (without looking like a jerk) when I don't want to see the girl again?
Thanks, everybody, for the great comments and helpful feedback! I appreciate it.
If you have any dating questions you would like answered, feel free to post them here. I'm planning to answer viewers dating questions on upcoming episodes this summer...
good show idea --- cool open but the second camera bugs me -why blk & white? the loweer thirds look real nice. too many hand movements - the show feels long - - should have moved to the tips much much sooner.
These are really helpful tips - I always find it annoying when people have spelling mistakes in their profile.
The best part of this was the music. Oh, and the host is cute. What's her screenname? ;)
Great show.
Solid advice.
