Sony Vs. Nintendo
This rivalry tells us an important story about electronics in the 20th century. Based on the information that Sony accrued creating peripherals for the console makers, they were able to create a groundbreaking and popular system themselves. The Sony Playstation would go on to become one of the most popular consoles of all time.

"Good for the gaming industry"? Maybe. But consumers and gamers are still being left out when all is said and done. Nintendo's abandoning the base they built up for years to focus on a completely different market. Sony is being a group of elitists like they always have been and are desperately trying to recoup losses in creative ways.
Both of them are big on REHASHAN' though. Is more of the same in a new coat truly a good sign?
I would have liked to have seen more on GC vs. PS2 but it was worth eight minutes of my time otherwise.
its sony's fault why nintendo lft the project alone its because they want there own system but they know how all 5the systems that were good and popular
very true, so, so, very true
Must... have... new episode... having... withdrawals...
Holy crap, Jeff. I saw you in a College Humor video : "Internet Commenter". Small world!
I'm glad that I found out about this site through Youtube. These videos are so addictive. Make more! :D
same with me! For some reason I want to keep on watching!
Yeah I know. This may seem kind of obsessive, but I watch these same videos over and over again o.O. I feel like I belong in an asylum now.
Great job, guys. I think you really sent the point home that competition means that we win. And this is the first modern video, so I can relate to it a bit more. I think you should do one on the rise of the XBox, seeing as you've mentioned it in several videos but never explained the history behind it.
you're quite right- this is one of the first that goes into recent consoles in any way. It's the goal to get more current on a lot of these episodes, but first, I'd still like to cover a few more key historial points before jumping ahead to today. I'm an Xbox junkie myself, so I'd love to do a rise of the Xbox episode- especially since it marks the first significant return of a US compnay to the Japan-dominated video game industry in 16 years or so.
Yeah. Or maybe an episode on Halo. They mentioned before how Halo MADE the xBox. That'd be interesting.
